Saving Library on external hard drive
[ New ]Hi i recently bought my first gopro, a HB7.
I imported all my photos and videos to my Desktop PC using Quick for Desktop, connecting the camera to the pc.
Now i want to move all my library to an external HDD (i am going to format my pc), but i am afraid of losing the possibility of keep using Quick for Desktop once I install windows again.
So is it possible to move all my library to an HDD and still being able to use Quick for Desktop?
And another question related to sd, libraries and HDD.
I am going on a trip next month, so i would like to know if it is possible to copy all the files from the sd card to an external HDD, using a laptop (without the Quick app), and then connect that eHDD to the Desktop PC (with Quick) and import all the photos and videos as if they were imported connecting the camera to the PC? (I want to keep all the data releated to the files such as GPS information for example).
Thank you!

Hi @nachoccar,
Yes you can.
Just move the entire folder and then the raw files.
Just keep them.
Regarding SD card to HDD, Yes you can and it won't affect the files.
