Reinstall Go Pro Studio Professional says " Your system clock appears to have been changed, ...

Ok, first off, I hate security things like this. They never work like they were intended to.

 

Ok, I installed the most recent version of Go Pro Studio Professional 2.0.1.319 on the 27th. All worked splendidly but I had a few problems with the OS even before I had this installed. I did not activate this version on my computer. I decided that I would wipe the drive and start new. I did that on the 29th and had a fresh copy of Windows 7 64-bit Service pack 1 on my computer.

 

I started installing my programs without any updates from Windows. When I reinstalled Go Pro again from the same downloaded file, installed it, and tried to open it I get a GPCSLD.dll error that says " Your system clock appears to have been changed, possibly in an attempt to defeat the securiy on this program. Please correct your system clock before trying to run this progam again. If your clock is already correct, rebooting the system may fix this problem, otherwise contact the author of this program for instructions (report code CCB-A)."

 

So, needless to say I'm not happy since I just downloaded this and had 2 days to work with it and now I can't open any of the programs. I even installed the free version of Go Pro Studio and it gives me the same error. Steps taken to correct this:

 

- Reinstalled many times, with reboots in between, same problem.

- Tried opening every program and tool in a Clean boot state, same problem.

- Checked my BIOS and system clock and time zone, all correct.

 

The only thing I can think of this this is essentially a virgin PC without any further updates. So, I've begun the long haul reinstall of windows updates. I'm hoping that fixes the error. What's even more frustrating is, I couldn't even open the activation app thus preventing me of activating and even preventing the problem that this is creating.

 

Does anyone have ideas?

It looks like you're trying to use an outdated version of the Studio program. That's likely causing your issues.

 

You can download the latest version of Studio in our Quik for Desktop program. The download is at https://shop.gopro.com/softwareandapp/quik-%7C-desktop/Quik-Desktop.html.

Actually,

 

It just required all the windows updates as I suspected. It runs fine now. Besides, if I had updated, I'm pretty sure that the new studio features has no way of creating the 3D files like First Light does. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The new version of Studio does have features to make 3D videos.
