Reframe still image in GoPro Player exports blank image

[ New ]

Using the latest GoPro player on MAC

I open my 360 video

1. Hit the image export icon at the bottom

2. Get a new window with the 360 video

3. Save the file

4. Hit reframe

5. position my image the way I want it

6. Hit the export options in the upper right

7. A new screen opens and my image is all black or all blue- but not what I reframed

How can I export a 2D image out of GoPro Player- I've already followed the directions I've found in support.

Hi @valkyriesound

Is this happening only on 360 videos?

Can you please test regular videos?

Thanks!

On regular videos- it exports a 2d image just fine.

On 360 videos- if you hit the save frame button it opens to a new still 360 preview window- if you save there- you get the full 360 still image.

If you instead hit the reframe button, position your frame, then hit the export button you get a blank/black image.

Please fix this bug!

Hi @valkyriesound

Can you please check and make sure that the file path of your source media doesn't have any non-English characters in it?

Thanks!

Ej
