Same problem as above...
GoPro seem to not give a **bleep** by their response tho..
1st they say they can't tell what problem may be becathey don't have the specs for the computer..
2nd when given specific details for said computer, tried to fob it off as 'it must be their parts that don't work..
FFS GoPro get your **bleep** together if you want to keep customers..
i for one am very unhappy with their crappy software crashes.

I am having the same issue, download videos off of the GoPro (both directly from the SD card or from the camera) then go to play or edit a video and the app stops responding. I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times and have even tried it on 3 different computers, all of which more the meet the system requirements. I have a ton of videos from my wedding and honeymoon I was hoping to start to edit and am hoping for a fix FROM GOPRO and not more excuses about how its probably all of our machines and not the app. All of these posts and my multiple attempts should make it obvious there is a bug with the program that needs to be fixed.

I know that this isn't really progress, but it is a solution in that GoPro Quik is actually usable:
I saw in my downloads folder I had an older version, so I uninstalled my non-responsive version and installed the older version. It works, but obviously misses out on the new features such as clip colour correction and sound mixer.
Hope that helps and more importantly GoPro can fix the new version!!
