Quik + hero4

Hi there, I've downloaded the new version of Quik and trying to connect my Hero4 with it. This ongoing process is already about two hours.

Media on Hero takes about 10Gb. What the reason for this long connection?

At the same time, I've uploaded my media from iMac to the Quik and it's okay.

Thanks.

Re: Quik + hero4

If you are connecting your camera directly into your computer it will use USB 2.0 (even if you have USB 3.0 or 3.1) and it will utilize MTP (Media Transfer Protocol). It's much faster to use a USB/SD (3.0 or 3.1) adapter, which not only has faster transfer speeds, but also will allow the computer to recognize the SD as a drive and not use the crappy MTP.
