For what you pay for a camera you'd expect GoPro to have ironed out the bugs in it's QUIK movie editor. I have a brand new Macbook Pro and everytime I tap on open movie in CREATE mode is crashes! I will try iMovie... Is there any soultion from GoPro in the pipeline or am I right to think every post is currently being ignored?

Thank you for the feedback. Sorry to hear about the trouble. There are identified issues that we have forwarded to the team but we are still awaiting updates from them.
As you are using a new computer, I gather that you already have the latest version of Quik for desktop (version 2.6.2) installed. I am using a Mac but I am able to go to Create mode without any issue. Since the issue maybe associated with particular settings on your computer, it would be best to get in touch with our Support team for a more personalized support. As a software developer for Mac myself I can assure you that your APP is unstable and needs a complete overhaul. There are no settings that will help stabilise it. It is a shame because the camera itself is brilliant but the software is iffy to say the least. Asides from which there ought not be a need to adjust settings on a computer to run quality built software. An example of how it should work is in iMovie that works superbly. I await a fix but iMovie does pretty much all I need for now.

This problem with the Macbook seems to have been going on for ages. I just bought the Hero 6 Black as a second camera and thought I'd try Quik again on the off-chance it had been fixed. No chance...
What do these people do with all the money they take from us? Not software support for sure.

Hi Go Pro,
I have the exact same problem as everyone else on this chat. Whenever I go onto the create tab of "go pro quik", the app unexpectadly crashes. I have updated the app to it's most recent update, hoping it would fix this problem but it didn't.
Go Pro can you please fix this problem on the app, instead of blaming our computers as the problem. If everyone on this chat has the same problem I think there is a problem with the app and not our computers. Go Pro products are good however your software needs to be better or else you will lose customers.
It is not fair on your customers either, to showcase a fantastic app in your video's, that don't actually work.
Could you please fix the app,

GoPro Quik still crashes every single time 'Create' mode is clicked.
Using a five month old MacBook Pro 3.1GHz running Mojave.
GoPro, can you please fix this? It's been a year since this was first posted.
The new GoPro is capable of recording amazing things which don't work with your own software.
