Re: Quik for desktop on mac crashing in create mode

Yes, same here. I bought my Macbook just a few weeks ago. I tried to chat or call support again but there was no staff member available. I will now look for a different BETTER WORKING video editing programme.

I can load videos perfectly. And even drag them into create but when i try to play it or change music in create my whole macbook will just freeze and i cant do anything unless i turn it off and back on.
Only had this macbook for about 6 months, did the latest software update a couple of day ago to 10.12.6

HI

I am using a Mac and everytime I click on create it crashes the computer and forces a restart without warning. it happens if I've selected a 2 sec clip or 20 clips. From what I can see spec on my Mac is OK for this to run. Any ideas? I have done a complete uninstall/reinstall and hasn't helped.

computer spec below

  Model Name: MacBook Pro

  Model Identifier: MacBookPro9,2

  Processor Name: Intel Core i5

  Processor Speed: 2.5 GHz

  Number of Processors: 1

  Total Number of Cores: 2

L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB

  L3 Cache: 3 MB

  Memory: 4 GB

  Boot ROM Version: MBP91.00D3.B0E

  SMC Version (system): 2.2f44

  Serial Number (system): C1MKXC8FDTY3

Re: Quik for desktop on mac crashing in create mode

I have the exact problem, soooo tired of it! This is the only app that is able to fully freeze my 2016 macbook pro. It's a **bleep**ty peace of software.

Same for me.  Very new Macbook Pro latest model running Sierra.  Can't be the specs.  Has to be a software bug.

Re: Quik for desktop on mac crashing in create mode

Hi there, I do have the same problem. the whole Mac freezes until I shut it down the hard way. This s####. I don't find a way to work with Quik on the mac. Tried reinstall several times with manual cleaning up all files.

Please work on a bugfix fast.
