Hi, looking for help re. Quik not launching. Background, have recently upgraded my computer to a better (but still second-hand) one.
I had no problems launching Quik on my 'old' computer.
Now Quik won't launch at all. GoPro Studio launches fine.
turning the internet off and then launching Quik,
setting up a new admin (Windows 10),
uninstalling and re-installing the app and then the Quik for desktop software,
deleting the 'appsetting' file in Appdata/roaming/GoPro,
phoning the help desk,
installing the 'old' version of Quik that the help desk gave me a link to,
launching Quik from the Tray App, from the desktop and from the install setup,
launching Quik with and without the camera plugged in.
getting really frustrated and yelling at everything...
All without success.
I know my 'new' computer does not meet all of the "system requirements" (e.g I've still got an I2 not an I3 processor, but I do have 4G RAM), BUT Quik ran fine on my 'old' computer...
I've attached a printscreen of the first part of my dxdiag just in case any of you whizzes out there might need it to analyze the situation...
Looking forward to being able to shoot more footage!
