Quik fails to launch or immediately crashes

Hi guys, I started having an intermittent problem with my Quik app (Windows 10 X64, i5-7600K, GTX 1070). It's been the case for some time now that I'd connect my Session and turn it on and Quik would auto launch and start importing. Well a few months ago I started getting this "Error importing files" popup. It would indee dimport all of my files but would fail to delete them. Then I'd have to go in and turn on wifi and connect with my phone to format the SD card (32GB Sandisk Ultra Plus).

 

It was probably 80% of the time this would happen. Then within the last week or two the Quik happ has been failing ti launch completely or it opens and immediately crashes. Once in a while it works fine. I've uninstalled an reinstlaled Quik and set it to run in compatibility mode (from the support article) and nothing works. This is really frustrating.
