There was just a recent update on Quik for Desktop. See if updating the app on your computer fixes the issue.

New version (2.6.0) also drops to login screen. However, now I can see the list of my footage. When I try to open or edit video, quik drops to login screen.

I simulated the issue on my end and so far, Quik allowed opening and editing media. We would like to check further on this case.
