Since upgrading to the latest version of Quik (v2.5 - Winstaller 18.104.22.1680), playing content via Quik with a resolution of 2.7 or 4k is very choppy and not workable. 1080 content, no problem.
Luckily, I still have Studio on my PC because it didn't get deinstalled when upgrading Quik, and playing the same videos (2.7/4k) there, doesn't give any problem whatsoever. So hardware/graphicscard isn't an issue here.
Also, before upgrading Quik, I didn't have any problems with 2.7k videos. Only not sure from whick Quik version I upgraded, believe it was v2.3 (?)
Can someone from GoPro please explain what is wrong here and when to expect a new version of Quik that fixes this issue ?

If I opened an individual supportcase, I don't think this would benefit the community ?
Seen other posts where this choppy playback was reported and reacted upon by GoPro staff. No solution.
If it is a particular configuration thing (specific hardware/OS), please advise. I don't think reverting back to an older version of Quik is a good thing ?

Just installed the latest Quik version 2.6.1 (GoPro_Quik-WinInstaller-22.214.171.1240) and the choppy playback has been solved.
Not sure if it has been around long, but just noticed it on the download page.
