Every time I attempt to add gauges to a video in the Quik GoPro desktop app the app crashes. Everything else works fine in the application and I have no issues editing my footage. I am running Windows 10 64-bit. I have confirmed that I have the most recent software installed. Is there a fix for this?

I am sorry to hear you are having some trouble with Quik and applying those gauges. Just to gather a bit more back ground:
- Have the gauges overlays ever worked?
- Does you computer meet the minimum specs listed here? https://goo.gl/XwoPPD
- Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall?
I would also give some of the steps in this article a try as well: https://goo.gl/L48Aj2

I had the same issue I found it was totally my fault, make sure your GPS is turned ON in your Hero 5 device while capturing content otherwise you will not be able to apply the Gauges, hope this helps.

I am having exactly same problem. I can open video and everytime i try to add gauges quik crashes. This used to work but doesn't work anymore. Already tried reinstalling the program and nothing changed. Gps was on in the camera while capturing the video.
win7 64bit, core i7, 16gb ram etc..
is there fix for this? Im getting frustrated to this considering also that it is not only problem with the quik software.

@leranta - Sorry about that. Not sure why it's happening, but a good first step is to uninstall and then reinstall the Quik for Desktop app. It could be an error that happened with the installation and doing a reinstall may help with that.
