Deleted a large number of go pro films via the app earlier - now doesnt a) show any media, b) now hangs in a media import loop without any change - have deleted and reinstalled the app etc rebooted in between reinstalls
all media still in GOpro folders but its just not even showing any of it. I know the quik app likes to label all the files itself on import to the app - why cant it just make proprietary links.
Any tips on how to stop it hanging?
attached is a screen pic

further info - once you attempt to add media you can click on file open in create mode and also add file both screens look like the following - this one is for File>Open in Create Mode:
this one is for File> Add Media - this appears to be a machines process loop not just something to do with not seeing where the files are - can you see how even thought thwe loading Media mask is on the front it then brings up the find media screen behind (which of course you cant click on)
out of futher interest why does the GoPro Quik app take soooooo long to even import files from an SD card - is it due to time stamping etc?

I have the same issue in file>open in create mode - my screen shot is the same as the previous example and mac completely hangs with the only option to turn off/on....
I'm running on Mac Sierra version 10.12.4 Beta (16E175b) and using GoPro Quik version 126.96.36.19956

Am currently using Support case 03714534 as my reporting to go pro - suggest you all do the same
there are aware of an update issue and would like to know about your operating system to help cure it
