I have a new Hero5 Black that currently has about 30+ GB of content on it from a couple of recent trips. When I attempt to either connect the camera to my Mac, or use a SD card reader, Quik will recognize the cam/card. In some cases it attempts to import the files immediately, other cases it says no files to import but if I leave it sit for a few seconds then again it attempts to import and fails. I can also sometimes trigger the import through clicking on the settings button and hitting ok to the settings menu. It appears that it reads the card right as it displays the capacity and % used, but when it displays the progress sometimes it shows 60 items to import, other times over 400.
Additionally, if I look in the GoPro folder on my Mac I can see where it starts to create folders by dates with a Hero5 folder within it. But those folders are empty. Also appears that none of the content from the card has been deleted.
I will also say, that when attempting to look at the content on the camera, it also seems to "lock up" the screen as once you get to the content icons and select one, nothing happens. Not sure if this is a related issue, maybe somehow there is an issue with the metadata of the files or something.

- HERO5 Black camera, updated to camera firmware version 2.00
- Quik version 22.214.171.12456
- Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5
- MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 w 16gb Ram
- SD Card - Lexar 1000x Micro SD XC II 128 GB card, purchased from Go Pro
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Quik a few times, restarted my Mac, as well as cleared out the GoPro folder. Nothing seems to get around this issue. I even attempted to use the Windows version of Quik on a Windows 10 virtual client I have through Parallels Desktop app on my Mac. In that case, Quik simply locks up at the import and never progresses, so seems like a similar issue.
I am going to attach a series of screen shots. I actually have video of this but I wasn't able to edit out personal information so I'd rather only share that with actual support.

After selecting the settings wheel and accepting the settings with an OK, Quik attempts to import again. Here you can see it now sees 446 items, but still the same error in importing.
