I had the same problem earlier today on Windows and I couldn't log in. Its working now. I'm in NZ so I'm guessing that it was the middle of the night in the US and they were doing some maintenance.
However, Quick just doesn't work as far as I can tell and I'm about to post a seperate thread.

Hello there, I have the exact same problem and I just updated to the latest version of Quik.
I tried login with my credentials, I get the "authenticating" message and then... nothing happens.
I tried creating a new account, I get the "Just a moment" message and then... nothing happens.
