Its a quirky piece of software at best and probably still related to your OS somehow? Beyond that i have no idea, ijust use moviemaker or Youtube itself, good enough for me. Good luck though, get back to us if you ever figure it out, perhaps others could benefit.

Hey, alright. Running win7. did the compatiblilty change thing to vista sp1 for me. Tried a few others and they all worked the problem. Dont know where to find the.json file. Anybody help on that?? Anyway Thanks SpiryTree 13402.

Here you go. It's near the bottom, right above of the Windows N 10 Users.
I found that you have to copy and paste the location into the address bar of file explorer to access the folder.

This is quite frustrating. I've uninstalled Quick on my Desktop. Seems to work on my phone fine. but I want to be able to do work on my desktop.
Processor: Intel core i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz
Ram 16 GB
x64 based processor

Hello, I'm currently having the same problem. Weird for me was that I had it downloaded and was working fine a few days ago. I packed my PC and brought it back to my parents house to get evacuate from a storm, I get back to my house today, set up my pc and the app doesn't work on the desktop. I've tried re downloading as well as checking firewalls/anti virus programs and still seem to come up to the same outcome as davida500. On another note, GoPro Studios works and opens perfectly fine.
