Quick for Desktop reduces timelapse quality

I am using GoPro Quick for desktop. After the desktop app compiles my timelapse pictures into a video, the video ends up in terrible quality, when the original pictures are taken in high quality. Is there something which can be done to fix this and keep my video with the same quality as the pictures?

Thanks.
