Quick downloads [ Edited ]

Hi,

I recently got the hero six after having a hero 3+ for about 3 years,

Downloading videos has always been a challenging task but I though I was getting the hang of it until today when I tried to Download files that were imported through an SD card to mac. The files show up on my quick view but would not play and just displayed black on my screen.  How can I fix this and get them onto quick? (they also are already downloaded into my iphoto, but I want to edit them)

What was the resolution of the media you downloaded.  The situation you are seeing may be that you are trying to play HEVC encoded videos on a computer that does not support the format.  Here is an article:
