QUIK throws me out after clicking most buttons [ New ]

The app throws me out after clicking most buttons (e.g. Settings, Create etc.).

Also it can`t find any video on my camera (Session) even if I write the path to a file.

Please go over the steps on Quik for desktop Fails to Launch

Regarding the files, are these copied to your computer or is are these still on your camera?

Are you able to view photos?
