QUIK crashes in create

Every time I open QUIK desktop and try to load in create, it freezes and crashes. I have tried running as administrator. Tried disabling graphics cards. Tried compatibility mode but nothing is working. I have a brand new laptop with all system requirments that it says to run QUIK desktop, yet nothing is working. I bought the laptop purely to be ablr to edit GoPro footage while I travel. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It doesn't give me the option to run with graphics processor as suggested in an article as the fix. Im lost as to what to do next and I leave the country in 4 days.
