I have tried removed all gopro files on my mac for the GOPRO quick app, ((Unless there are hidden files someplace im not looking)))
Everytime I re-install the quick app on my mac ((fully up to date with the latest apple software)), It installs with all my previous settings in place as if it were not a clean install. Then the sign in only appears when I hover my mouse over where sign in should be. Clicking on "Sign in" does nothing. It does not populate the abuility to sign in.
Could you perhaps provide a step by step to a complete uninstall and CLEAN install on a mac?
And if this is a known issue, could you provide a timeline for a fix?
Thank you so much and I look forward to your response.

We have recently launched an update for Quik for Desktop. Please ensure that you have the latest version.
If it's still the same please follow these steps:
1 Open Quik for desktop
2 While on the login screen, select the “Help” tab above the Quik for desktop window
3 Select “Restart with default settings”
4 A modal will appear saying “Are you sure?“. Click “Restart” once more.
5 Quik for desktop will close and reopen. Quik for desktop will appear as if you installed it for the first time.
6 Go to the login screen and input your credentials. You should then be able to login successfully.
Let us know how it goes.

Have you tried adjusting the screen size/ screen resolution? Would you be able to post a screenshot of the login screen?
Kindly visit gopro.com and try to login, let me know if it will go through. This is just to verify if the logins are good.

I can login to the site just fine. A screenshot will do you no good as it shows everything looking as normal. HOWEVER when I click on the login button... it does nothing. Does not populate the login options. Screen resolution should have nothing to do with it on a mac.
As originally posted, can you give a detailed step by step, for an apple computer, how to do a full delete, and clean install of the software so I can test and see if that works? Otherwise its a software issue. I see another person n the forum has this glitch and I would love to use the software Im supporting with my subscription :)

Good to know that you are able to login to the GoPro website using the same credentials. Are you able to login to the GoPro app for mobile?
If you have not done it yet, try uninstalling Quik for desktop from your computer. Check out this Apple support article on uninstalling apps as guide.
Re-install the app and see how it goes. Will wait for an update from you.

My credentials are fine.
I am able to sign into the mobile app.
I am able to sign into the website on the desktop.
My account is up to date.
My software (OSX) is the latest version.
The app on my desktop (Apple) is the latest version.
I love the mobile app, but the export on the iPhone version of the app does not feel like a true 1080p export. Looks great on a phone, terrible blown up on a big screen. Not fully the issue, but context to why I’m using the desktop app. I’m looking for a better completed product.
When I load QUICK for desktop on my Mac, it loads up. I move my mouse over the login button.... click on the login button, and nothing happens. It used to populate a login section where I could log into my account. This does not happen. Nothing happens when I click log in. It doesn’t stall the computer, it doesn’t crash the application, it simply...... does nothing.
If I ignore the fact that I can’t log in, there is no music in the editing section. The app installs a very broken version of the app.
So I will again ask if you have instructions of a way to do a fully complete uninstall (deleting the program in its entirety with no trace elements of the program) so I can perform a clean install and see if that solves the issue.
Or can you provide me with a previous version so I can test to see if your latest version has a bug.
Either way, taking days to respond and only then with basic troubleshooting answers is mildy starting to irritate me.
It’s not my username or password.

When I re-install the application it loads in the same manner as if it was never deleted.
