[ New ]Im bumping this up because im still having this issue. I CANT USE YOUR SOFTWARE on my mac.. Im a stock holder and a paying subscriber... clearly im not the only one with this issue... can you guys please provide a fix, offer a solution or something.
this is starting to irritate me at how horrible the customer service is on this.

Hi @plunderfest
We have recently launched an update for Quik for Desktop. Please ensure that you have the latest version.
If it's still the same please follow these steps:
1 Open Quik for desktop
2 While on the login screen, select the “Help” tab above the Quik for desktop window
3 Select “Restart with default settings”
4 A modal will appear saying “Are you sure?“. Click “Restart” once more.
5 Quik for desktop will close and reopen. Quik for desktop will appear as if you installed it for the first time.
6 Go to the login screen and input your credentials. You should then be able to login successfully.

[ New ]I purchased a new gopro 6 , and my MAC will not login through the gopro quick app . It will not login by connecting with facebook and it will not login using the same username and password that i have logged into this portal.
Further it just sits there saying "Authenticating" when you supply username and password or "Just a Moment" if you try to register with a new account .

Are you also able to login to your GoPro account online (via gopro.com/login) and the GoPro App on mobile using the same credentials? Have you been able to verify your email through the link that was sent to you via email when you created your GoPro account?
If it is a yes to both, and you already have the latest version of Quik for desktop (version 2.6.2) installed on your computer, try the following steps and see if you will be able to get past the authenticating part:
1 Open Quik for desktop
2 While on the login screen, select the “Help” tab above the Quik for desktop window
3 Select “Restart with default settings”
4 A modal will appear saying “Are you sure?“. Click “Restart” once more.
5 Quik for desktop will close and reopen. Quik for desktop will appear as if you installed it for the first time.

[ New ]I have EXACTLY the same issue. The fixes suggested previously on this thread do not work (help > restart with default settings), neither does a clean install.
Any ideas?

Yep, thanks. I've been online with Mae for some hours and we havent found the issue yet.
Hopefully should have a fix in the next days, I wil update it here when we do.
