Poor video quality from GoPro Quik - Similar bit rate regardless of resolution or fps
[ New ]Hi,
I've noticed when I save a video via create, the higher the resolution and FPS is, the poorer the image quality ends up. I worked out this is due to lack of control over the output bitrate. I did a quick test:
2.7k - 60fps (33s clip) -> Video Datarate 13858kbps
2.7k - 30fps (17s clip) -> Video Datarate 15258kbps
1080p - 60fps (17s clip) -> Video Datarate 12566kbps
1080p- 30fps (17s clip) -> Video Datarate 12374kbps
This results in movement in the highest setting becoming very blurred and blocky.
Please can some control over bitrate be provided as the resulting output is very poor compared to the exceptional source video quality. Even for basic users I'd recommend that the bitrate should scale up appropriately with frame size / fps.
Thank you,
David

[ New ]Yup output quality sucks, I will not be using Quik to create videos until this gets resolved.
We need output options!
