Poor compression when uploading to YouTube.
[ New ]How can i upload to Youtube and keep watchable quality?
I film using 4k and convert using Powerdirector 15.
I've edited and had the output at 4k and 2.7k and upload to Youtube. However the compression is really bad regardless and not the same quality of the original.
Here is an example uploaded today.

Is it Powerdirector although the edited video seems fine before uploading to Youtube?
Thanks

Re: Poor compression when uploading to YouTube.
[ New ]@reddusk41213, I personally think that YouTube and other social media platforms' compression process is already beyond GoPro's control. These platforms have their own requisites when it comes to uploading contents. I suggest to check on YouTube message boards or even with YouTube directly to get more specific details about this.
When you converted your video using Powerdirector, what bitrate did you set for the video output? As far as I know, you have to set 24-30 Mbps for 2.7K video to get the best quality.
You can also check the suggestion on this post to see if it will work for you: https://community.gopro.com/t5/GoPro-Apps-for-Desktop/Youtube-degrades-my-video-quality/m-p/206845/h...
Hopefully this helps!
