I am rendering small clips 10-30s from a large 5.2K30 2.5 hour video using Fusion Studio 1.4 (I have also tried on 1.3). Upon rendering, It seems to be stuck at stitching 0.0%, then it finishes, but result is at 1KB. I had success rendering clips earlier in the video, but when I try to render the shorter clips from the last 45 min of the video, it renders useless files sized at 2KB. The render cue is set at Editing 5.2K Stereo. Render with CineForm 422, 5.2K (5120x25600) Stereo.
I have tried rendering 1 clip at a time and also tried multiple clips using the “Create a Copy” function. Neither work. I have also tried changing the Video Codec to H.264 and ProRes422. I have changed video resolution to 4K, 3K and 2K with no luck.
I have wasted a lot of time on this and it is frustrating. I am considering scrapping my 2 GoPro Fusions in favor of my Insta360 One X. I may get more as their stitching program has less problems, the large files are broken down to smaller files that you can open individually (I know with Studio 1.4 you can decrease the imported file size, but I only found that to work with the beginning of the clips, not the middle or end) and I can import directly into Adobe Premier Pro with Insta360. If I can’t get this to work, that is what I will do. However, any help in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated as I do not want to shelve $800 worth of equipment.
