Nothing from my music library is available

Hi there, I have been troubleshooting this problem for several days now. In the past I have been able to access my Apple Music library in Quik. As of this past week, I have not been able to. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app which was annoying, because all my projects disappeared. Past that I have not found much advice for other things to do to troubleshoot this. In the past I have been able to use stuff from my music library for other videos, this is just a recent change. My whole music library is downloaded on my phone, the majority of my music isn’t DRM protected, and obviously this is an iPhone. Please help.

What phone are you using?

What iOS version is your phone on?

I have just tried it on an iPhone6 and an iPhone8, both allowed me to use My Music.

Are you getting an error message?

I’m using an iPhone XS with iOS 12.1.2, which is the most recent update. This problem originally started with the same phone before the update. I’d been hopeful that the update might fix it. Unfortunately, I don’t have a different phone that I could try troubleshooting with.

When I go to add music from my library, it just says ‘unavailable.’

Is it downloaded music from apple store/iTunes or you just transferred those music using iTunes?

Got it @juliekhill,

 

I think it will not really show up on the app. 

 

If you have some music on your iTunes transfer it manually on your phone so that it is saved locally. 

 

If it's still not showing up you can also ask Apple Support.

They might know the reason.
