No Files to Import

Hi,

I am using a compatible micro SD card with my Hero 4 Silver. I use Quik to import camera files. Hero 4 Silver firmware is also upgraded to 5.0.0 the latest release.  Till October last year also I imported files to my Mac from Camera easily with Quik. However, now I am not able to import any files and I see a message 'No files to Import'.  After chatting with Go Pro support I upgraded Quik to latest version but could only import files till October 2016 and no files after that. I do have card reader port in Mac. But I need the card reader etc and do not want to go that way unless this issue is not resolved. I have Mac High Sierra

Re: No Files to Import

@dipant2 - First thing to do is to check that the files aren't corrupted. Can you play them and see them on your GoPro?

Re: No Files to Import

Yes I have checked and I can play all of those using Go Pro camera playback. So those files are fine.

Re: No Files to Import

It's possible that Quik thinks it has already imported the content then. If the files are not already in your import folder, then you may need to manually move the files over this time. Once the card is emptied, try creating and then importing some new content again and see if Quik is able to import those files.

Re: No Files to Import

Today I borrowed a cArd adapter from my friend and able to import all videos. However, still did not find a solution. I recorded a new video with correct date and try to import it using Quik - and still getting no files to import . Even not able to import it using Image Capture. When i imported direct from memory card , it is able to import

Re: No Files to Import

Once the data from the card is saved, try reformatting the card, then uninstall and reinstall Quik for Desktop. If the issues continue, I'd suggest getting in touch with our Support team at https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs so we can work through this with you.
