No Files showing in Quik App after updating to Mac Catalina

My HERO5 Season and the Mac Quik App after updating to Catalina on my MacBook Pro showed zero files, even when the HERO5 was showing them on the SD card, so I was unable to download. Everything was the latest software version.


I fixed this by


1. Uninstalled the GoPro Mac Quik App and all its files using CleanMyMac App,

2. Reinstall the GoPro Mac Quik App,

3. During the installation stage a pop up window will ask you for GoPro Quik App needing permission to acess (read/write) to the (Removable folder) 'Files and Folders'. (This is a new Catalina double checking/asking for security),

4. Clicked YES

5. Checked in System Preferences,'Security & Privacy', Privacy tab, scroll down to 'Files and Folders' to see if GoPro Quik has acess by seeing ticked boxes. (This was blank when it wasn't working)


All works now. Hope this helps eveyone
