My desktop W10 version of Quick will not play video correctly from my Hero 7 Black,

[ New ]

The video transferred from camera to Quick plays very slowly in jumps on the player in Gopro Quick on my desktop.  The recorded version in my Hero7 Camera plays back perfectly smoothly on the camera screen. I am recording in PAL . Hopefully there ia a simple solution ?

Hello, @anthonyn0016. Does it matter which resolution settings the videos were recorded in? See if the videos may be using HEVC. If this is the case, your computer needs to meet these system requirements for smooth playback.

You may also go through the troubleshooting steps at How to Correct Choppy or Broken Up Playback. Please know that Quik for desktop is no longer in development so you might want to explore other programs that can be used to view and edit your GoPro footage.
