So I have run into an issue and am not sure how to deal with it... GoPro by default splits vids into smaller, 4GB ones, which makes about 10min long clips (depending on quality). I'd understand that, but would expect these would show as full videos in quik. But unfortunately that's not the case and videos are shown separate. The problem is, how to put them together, to have gauges reflect the whole video?
Let's say, an example:
I have been riding for an hour in a car which results in 6 clips. I'd like to have GPS path and speed profile shown, but if I open the clip, the gauge is shown only for the 10 min clip, not showing the path of my whole ride as well as not the speed profile...
This terrible how it works? Or am I missing something? I know, mostly no one will watch 60 min video, but I'd like to extract relevant parts later where actual path is shown, not only a fragment of it, different in each part?
Thanks for helping me out...

There's not an easy solution for this one just yet. Our videos are chaptered, which makes it hard for videos shot over an extended period to be merged into a single file with a consistent GPS feed for the gauges to read.
We have passed along this issue to our teams though, so hopefully we can work on a solution for this in the future.

This is a feature I'd really like to see also. I can't imagine many, if any, action sports recordings are less than 8 minutes so adding the route map and data for a small segment of that video is kind of pointless.

GoPro has definatley the worst of all of these types of apps. Contour by fas has the best and the Garmin VIRB is also very good. GoPro is not even in the game when it comes to adding gps content to videos. When I know I want gps content, I shoot with my Contour cameras.

Feedback = Worst video app ever.
I know, details are helpful but like your app I'll just let you try to figure it out (hint: use ANY other video app then try to use your own). Good luck.

I am so bummed out about this!! I wish I read these review before I purchased. One example I had in mind to do was to record my whole bike ride. Speed it up x40 or so, and add the gages like I saw in their **bleep** commercials!! but no, it is not that easy, first I need to merge all of the clips together. I get why and I understand the chapters, but then atleast provide us customers with an easy way to merge!! I need to purchase a 3rd party application. But then the gps data gets lost. They no longer support Studio, which seems to have the tools, but this keeps crashing on me...
Anyone have suggestions or ideas for me to take 4 segmented chapters of a 40min video that I can merge, add the gps gages (route and speed) and speed up x40, of course ill add music but that seems to be the easy part. I have been searching everywhere.
