Is there windows desktop editing software for Gopro MAX .360 footage on its way?

I have just bought a Gopro MAX and have taken a stack .360 footage but have no way of editing it on my windows desktop. Does anyone know if there is windows desktop software from gopro being developed for the .360 files? All the applications I have tried do not recognise the .360 file extension.
