Installed on a Japanese PC: only Japanese avaialble. I want english... [ New ]

Even though downloaded from the US gopro site, when installed on a Win10 Japanese PC the software comes only in Japanese... Could you just add a Language Preference in the Preference Menu?

You can also try opening the link via in-private browsing/incognito mode.

Hi,

I tried, with Private browsing, but the software stil installs in Japanese.

The file downloaded is: "GoPro_Quik-WinInstaller-2.7.0.945"

Can you change the language of your computer first before installing?

Use English before installing the app.

Thank for teh suggestion.

By changing the language before installing, the installation proceeds in English and as long as the PC language is kept as English the software will run in English. but if I put the PC language back to Japanese the software will run in Japanese. I like to keep the PC language as Japanese for everything else. I have lots of programs which can run in English, even when PC language is Japanese. Even the Sony video suite does it well, with a language choice in the preference.

Anyway, the problem is half-solved. It is a pain having the signout and back in  when changing PC language.
