How to import edited video from quick desktop to phone app?

Hello everybody,

I´ve been struggeling for a while now with importing edited videos from quick desktop on my mac to my iphone, so I can share it on social media (instagram in this matter). And I´ getting alittle frustrated, because the only way I can access my edited video is through the quick app, but then I have to add all kinds of editing to it? How do I access it LIKE IT IS through my phone? I just wanna save it on my iphone. I know I could send it to my self through email ect, and access it from there, but then the quality is much worse - plus I would guess there is a easier solution...

Ps, I am pretty new to all this, so bare with me..

Thank you!

Hi @iswes,

The easiest way to do so while keeping that quality would be to Airdrop the MP4 edit from your mac to your iPhone. Simply find that file in finder right click and select share and Airdrop to select your Phone! Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Ryan

Hello @iswes

Assuming your edited video is in the cloud, you have a couple of options:

1. From the GoPro App, select the Meida icon and then select Cloud and locate your video

2. Use the Share Icon to share it to a limited set of social media sites (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat)

3. You can also select the download icon which will store the edited video in your local media roll

4. Go to the local media roll (still within the GoPro App), and select the downloaded video and hit the share icon

5.You will see a pre-set list of social sites which includes Snapchat across the bottom of the screen.

So, to recap, you can share media you've uploaded into the cloud directly to some social media sites without downloading the video from the cloud to your phone.

However, to have the greatest share opportunity, you can download it from the cloud and use the share feature from the local media repository.

Hope this helps.
