How to convert a time lapse photo to video with Quick Desktop?

[ New ]

Hi, I have copied my title from a previous post where GoPros answer was that you can't use Quik Desktop to convert time lapse photo to video. And that was that. No suggestion how to do it.

"Time Lapse conversion to video is something that is not supported by Quik."

https://community.gopro.com/t5/GoPro-Apps-for-Desktop/How-to-convert-a-time-lapse-photo-to-video-wit...

I have just filled a 32Gb card with 14000 photos and used Quik to import them AND turn them into video BUT the only option then is to share them via Facebook or YouTube.

So just how do I do it? I cant see iMovie or QuickTime doing the conversion and how do I get the files onto my Mac if Quik is grabbing them first?

Totally lost, appreciate any help

Hello @stevej182.  You may explore other programs that can be used to view and edit your GoPro footage. Such programs are listed here https://gopro.com/help/articles/how_to/Programs-to-View-and-Edit-Videos . Once the files are imported via Quik for desktop, you can locate them through the file path described in this article so you can copy them to the other editing apps. Alternatively, you may use Quik for mobile to edit your videos. Feel free to post back for any other questions or concerns.
