Hero5 not recognised when connected to imac with Mac OS Mojave
[ New ]Hi GoPro support,
Since I upgraded my Mac with Mojave, my camera isn't recognised anymore via USB. No disk appears on the desktop and the camera isn't recognised in Quick app. Painful, as I need to download my last videos.
Will I have to by an SD reader for that?
Any plans to fix this soon on MacOS Mojave?
Thanks for you support

Re: Hero5 not recognised when connected to imac with Mac OS Mojave
[ New ]Hello @megastar62112.
Our team is working on this issue at this time. In the meantime, you can import your media manually through an SD card adapter. You do not have to buy an SD card adapter though. The SD card pack usually comes with an adapter so you might want to check on it. We will keep you posted once we hear back from the team.
By the way, is you camera detected by the Image Capture app on your computer? Does the Image Capture app allow you to view your GoPro media? Hope to hear back from you.
Thanks,
Marius

Re: Hero5 not recognised when connected to imac with Mac OS Mojave
[ New ]Thanks for your reply.
No, my camera is not detected, neither by Quick nor by Image Capture. Not at all by the mac itself in fact, it doesn't appear anywhere as a external drive. It is detected by the Mac app "Photo" but there it says : "No photos to download", whereas I have 40G of videos & photos on the SD card inside the cam.
I did a test with the macbook of my daughter (with MacOS Sierra): I plugged the cam, it was detected, I could download the videos. I upgraded the mac to MacOS Mojave and then, same symptoms as on my imac: camera not detected anymore, impossible to download videos, on any apps.
I do really think that there's a compatibility issue with last MacOS version Mojave.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your support
