Hero 7 and Windows 10 - video format not supported

[ New ]

go pro message.png

Haven't used my Hero 7 in awhile.  Took a few videos, tried to upload into Quik (both with cable and by pulling out SD card from camera/inserting into computer), and got the above error/notice. Video is at 2.7k/30. Computer is the same as last time I used it.

What to do?

Hello, @hardyrange14726. What happens when you click on Got It? Are you able to view your media? Were all recordings that you just imported in 2.7K/30fps? The message you received is associated with Quik for desktop or the computer not being able to handle HEVC files completely. Learn more about HEVC files. The resolution setting you used though is not tagged to use HEVC according to the information in this article. Let us know what you find out.
