Hero 6 won't import

[ Edited ]

I'm really at the end of my tether with my GoPro now, not only is it my second GoPro (first one came totally faulty) and has crashed randomly, a number of times. Now I cannot import any files off of my camera, the real kicker is it let me import it literally 5 minutes ago, I needed the USB slot for a flash drive, put the GoPro back in after, grey bar on Quik, Photos app on the Mac shows that there are files but it won't import them, I've got 2 vacations of footage on here and I could really do without wiping it all.

And for reference, this is the number of problems within 4 months (including the camera being replaced).

Memory Card - Samsung Evo Plus 128GB

Quik - Version 2.5.1.410

OS - macOS Hih Sierra 10.13.3

Re: Hero 6 won't import

Hey everyone,

I just updated my H6 Black to version 2.01 which was released today. After the update, I was able to import videos into Quik for desktop via USB connection with no problem. Go to https://gopro.com/update to update your camera and you should find this issue resolved.
