Hero 5 session is locked when connected to windows 10

Hi,

 

I just connected my hero 5 session to my pc(windows 10) and, with the desktop app quik, installed i wanted to transfer my files to my pc. I can connect without any problem to the gopro app on my iPhone 6s. My PC says that the camera is locked. How can i unlock it?

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps listed here? This should also address the error "no files to import".

 

Another troubleshooting step is to try a different port.

Hi @matthiees

 

 

Is the camera being detected on Quik? Is the camera showing the USB connected icon when plugged in?

 

You need to access the files on your camera via Quik for desktop.

If you wish to access the files directly on your computer, you will need an SD adapter.

Hi Aragon,

The camera is detected by the PC. Quik even regognises it. Quik shows the normal “importscreen” but it shows that there is no SDcard in it, while there is. Windows Explorer says that the camera is locked.

I only need to know how to unlocked my GoPro. I know that my PC can easily run Quik with the right systemrequirements.

Screenshot of quik when i connect my hero 5 session. It says that there is no data but on the gopro itself(and via mobile app) it shows 50% of data used.
