I'm running a brand new Windows 10 PC with a Core i7, 10th generation Processor. I bought this PC specifically to support the newer HEVC encoded files by the GoPro 7.
When I plug in my camera, Quick recognizes that there is media to import, I see it copy the files, and when complete it displays a warning about HEVC files, and that while they will import into Quick and show up in the Media section, they may have problems with playback.
After the files are imported, they show up but will not play at all.
Can you assist with a a soultion as it appears this computer should handle this no problem. thanks

So, my camera will record in a format that is not compatible with QUICK?
How do I know when my camera is in that format and how do I change the format?
Why did GoPro release a camera with a format that is not supported by it's own software?

Well, I do see now that going into the mode that uses 265 does display a message that not all software supports this mode.
I changed the mode to 1440/60. Will see how that works.
What is the recommended editing software for the HVEC265 codec?
