HEVC recoding with HandBrake
[ New ]I downloaded the HandBrake app successfully and was able to recode my GoPro files into *.MP4 files. These recoded files do not appear withiin Quik media. I have loaded one of these into GoPro Studio to edit it and it loads and runs. Unfortunately it does not appear possible to edit the file. Have I missed something? It does not appear too helpful to be able to convert the GoPro 9 Black files to be able to view them if they are still not editable. Thanks in anticipation.

Re: HEVC recoding with HandBrake
[ New ]@gunnerb993, Quik for desktop app will only find the original source files coming from a GoPro camera.
Converting your HEVC videos to H.264 codec is just a suggested workaround if you don't have a compatible device to playback your recordings. For further details, see HEVC Explained.
You can check this list of editing applications that work well with GoPro files as shared by a Hub member.
