Yes updated this morning prior to posting.
i get the specs and as I read it my pc must be compatible as windows media, windows video & tv, VLC and other players all play the HEVC video on my pc. With all of this said the only video Quik sees are the videos shot in non HEVC format.
Is my assumption above flawed?

We all have win10, and I have i7-8700, I also have Nvidia gtx 1060, 16g memory, and more than sufficient cooler. I can play 4k on other video players, my 4k video just not recognized by your Quik.
THIS IS THE ISSUE, WE ARE ABOVE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BUT STILL CANNOT PLAY 4K ON QUIK.
Please anwser the question and not throw us to the minimum requiement web again and again.

I have I7 990x 3.4ghz, Radeon RX 580 with 8g of onboard video ram, plus 18g of RAM on the motherboard running windows 10. I am with you seems we meet their standards and clearly our systems are demonstrating they do. The commonality is Quik does not.
