Gopro Quik clipping videos
[ New ]I am haveing trouble using the create a clip function.
When it first opens it pre selects what looks like the full clip, however in reality it is clipping off 8 sec of video. I have tried sliding the selection area to the maximum at both the start and end of the clip, yet this does not work. Still clips off 8 sec ususlly at the end.
Is this due to recording in hypersmooth ...
This is now making combining clips from videos of over 15min with overlays impossible. Is there another means with out having to get yet more software to resolve this issue

[ New ]Hi @brianf11
What version of Quik for desktop are you using?
I have just made a test edit and I was able to clip it accordingly.
Thanks!

Re: Gopro Quik clipping videos
[ New ]Hi @brianf11
Have you tried trimming the videos using other applications?
Would you be able to share a sample file to see if we can replicate the issue?
Thanks!

Re: Gopro Quik clipping videos
[ New ]Ej,
The files are complete when down loaded, however when I go to the create a clip function so i can add the gauges the clip does not enable you to select the full clip. even when i grab the end markers and try to drag them fully out it still does not give the whole clip.
The full clip is 8:51 (image 1 attached) when it is fist shown in the create a clip window, however when it is saved it comes out at 8:42 as per image 2 attached. when the end tabs are fully dragged out it only shows 8:43 (Image 3).
This means when I want to stitch the clips together with the gauges there is 8 seconds missing, creating a gap.
In short if I want to creat a full lenght video with out gauges I use studio to convert the files or load the raw files direct to Final cut pro and edit.
If I wish to have the gauges which is why I purchased the camera this is currently not happening.

Re: Gopro Quik clipping videos
[ New ]Hi @brianf11
I have made a test edit on one of my files and was able to keep the full length.
I have also tried overlaying GPS telemetry on one of the trimmed videos.
Thanks!
