I am really struggeling hard with the GoPro Fusion App V1.3 on Windows. Whenever I try to render a (even few seconds short) recording GoPro Fusion stalls either at the start or latest at about 16 % progress. I have already worked through all the different articles and their proposed steps but so far nothing changed the behavior leading to the assumption none of them addresses the issue being faced.
- Lenovo Yoga i7-4510U with Intel HD Graphics 4400
- Windows 10 fresh install having all current updates deployed
- Deployed all current hardware drivers using Lenovo System Updates
Solution approaches tested
- Download and install Visual C++ Redistributable Package SP1 x64
- Download and install Visual C++ Redistributable Package SP1 x86
- Reinstall GoPro Fusion several times
- Install graphics card driver package provided by Lenovo
- Install graphics card driver package provided by Intel
- Running all involved application as administrator and disable User account control
- Re-installed Microsoft Windows .Net Framework 3.5 SP1
- Disable Antivirus Software
None if these, either seperated, in different or full combination had any effect on the issue occuring.Lucky to receive technical founded and detailed approaches on solving this.

I somehow finally manage to receive an error message which seems to be in context with Open GL driver or libaries, here is the error message:
I checked my graphics card driver which clearly state Open GL 4.3 compatibility:
I will do more investigation on the error message info provided.

dll mentioned by error message are where they should be, available in the application directory as well in PATH statement. So it is not missing them. Link to error dump file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k49e2ej6gp3jd1o/2019-05-11%20GoPro%20Fusion%201.4.0%20RC2.dmp?dl=0

The test of the topics unveiled in this thread did not help to solve the issue so far and therefore GoPro Fusion 1.3 as well 1.4.0 RC2 crash when stiching process starts.

There are some serious problems with Fusion Studio in relation to stitching. I have found that while trying to stitch 5.7k footage to cineform with Ambix audio (surround option) crashes my machine on even short renders. This is repeatable on every attempt.
I'm running an i7 7820 with 32GB ram and a 1080 card, so the specs are well able for this.
If I switch to stereo sound, then it will stitch just fine.
So try that.
Here is the event log for the crash if anyone is interested. I notice that when Studio trys to upload the details of the crash to Gopro
it cant find anywhere to put it...

Tested all combinations possible in 1.3 and 1.4. RC2. Has no influence stiching stalls anc crashed Fusion in 1.3 and 1.4.0 RC2 at 16 %. Same posted error message unveiled that Fusion has some issues with Open GL integration even having a Graphics adaptered fulfiling the Open GL standard listed as requried by Go Pro for Fusion.
Status issue is still open, unvolved and occuring. Based on error message Fusion is rasing calls to Open GL .dlls not being compatible with Open GL 4.3, i7-4510U with Intel 4400 HD Graphics and 8 GB Ram unlikely minimum system requirements mentioned on Go Pro Website is i5 and Open GL 4.1.
