GoPro Quik can't edit video files from HERO5

Hi there,

 

I'm using the Quik desktop app on my PC with Windows 10. I've uploaded my video and photo files to the software through the GoPro cloud. However, I can't play back any of the videos on Quik itself, nor can I edit them on the "Create" page of the software. Plus it takes extremely long to load onto the "Create" page.

 

Additionally, when I import my video files from Quik to my desktop, the files can't be read by my laptop.

 

I'd just really like to be able to start editing my footage, but Quik can't seem to work with my files.

Please provide other details such as settings/resolution used to take the video.

And processor and graphics card details of your computer. 

 

You can try this for now.

 

Right click on the app icon >> choose troubleshoot or run in compatibility mode >> choose Windows 7 or 8.1.

If that won't work try to run it with graphics processor by right clicking on the app icon.
