GoPro Quik is not saving _any_ preferences or settings. Start the app, make the changes to the prefernces, restart Quick and the settings are not saved.
GoPro Quik will also not upload to GoPro Plus Cloud.
Did full uinstalls, reinstalls, etc.
Did resetting to factory defaults.
Tried logging out, logging back in..both with and with 2factor auth -- which is bypassed in the App by the way, which is one of the worst security implementions I've seen to date.
Overall, if anyone find this message and are considering using the Quik app for video editing -- dont' bother - -i've opend muiltiple direct support requests, sent diag files, and did everything possible -- GoPro support never resolved the problem.

Any settings or preferences within Quik.
And Quik also likes to crash out / not responding when doing video creation via edit.
No longer under development -- great -- glad to hear that the value of paying for GoPro Plus with the additional features, uploading, etc. will no longer be supported.

@n00bmaster69, there are some troubleshooting suggestions here Quik for desktop Crashes while Opening Create Mode that will help. Additionally, please run any available OS updates and make sure to have the latest update for your Graphics Card/s drivers installed.
