Hi, I'm new to this forum stuff. Not sure how to inform everyone on the forum. I had the same issue. However there is a Quick fix. If you upload your video it will only play for a minute or so. OK. But, if you enter edit (on iPad) by touching the video image getting the “pen” icon, then select “Highlight” followed by selecting “Manual” then you get your full length video clip that you can them mess about with. This way I get a 10 minute ski film with loads of my music added. Hope this helps.

@mojojersey Why wouldn't you want to use a proper non-linear editor on your 27" monitor? Quik isn't for detailed editing. It's to make...quick videos. The Quik Desktop app is fine for importing media, updating your camera, and uploading to GoPro Plus, but it's not an ideal editor unless you just want something that makes a quik music sync video. If that is what you want, then utilizing the mobile app is a much better solution. If you want to do desktop editing, there are plenty of free editors ranging from basic to professional that do a much better job and are more suited for that type of editing.

Also, there are programs and adapters that will let you utilize your 27" monitor with your 5.8" iPhone.

Does any of these apps use highlights from GoPro? I have about 200 videos with highlights and would like to be able to generate one long video based on highlight tags auto-editing. Is there anything for that on the market?
