GoPro Plus Cloud Upload - Hero 5 and Hero 5 Session - Or?

I just signed up for the free 30 day trial of GoPro Plus, but I thought the cloud upload worked with either H5 or H5S. 

Am I wrong?

The auto-upload feature where content is sent to the cloud from the camera (via your phone and the Capture app) is available to the HERO5 Black and the HERO5 Session. Details are at https://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/Auto-Upload-Explained.

 

If you're using the Quik for Desktop app though, content from any GoPro camera that is imported to Quik for Desktop should be able to sync up with the cloud storage.

Hello,

 

My Quik for desktop is open and the GoPro Black 5 is also plugged via USB. Nonetheless, the auto-cloud upload isn't working.

 

As my HD is already full, I'm hoping to upload those GB's into the cloud directly from the Go Pro to the Cloud. 

 

I find it very frustrating to make it happen.

 

Cloud should be simple. Not complicated.

Just signed up for gopro plus a few days ago to upload videos.  The "Special" support line stinks!  Was on hold with tech service for 2 hours both Tues and Wed waiting for someone to answer - NEVER did!  Finally yesterday went through the sales line to get to a tech and was on with her for over an hour trying to get my hero5 black to connect through Capture to upload  She never got it working - also spoke very broken english and was difficult to understand.  She also said tha Gopro was having problems with initial setups of gopro plus at this time - don't know if that's the truth, or she was trying to give me the dodge and get me off the phone.  She couldn't get an estimate of when it would be fixed.  So, I've got a free 30 day trial of something that I cannot actually TRY, then you're going to start billing me? 

 

So, is there a problem with gopro plus initial setups at this time or not?  When will it be repaired. 

 

I CAN'T GET ANY ANSWERS FROM ANYWHERE ONLINE FOR THIS ISSUE!

It looks like you have a case open with Ryan L. I would recommend replying in case #3863322 as I have not heard of any issues with Plus. He should be able to help you out!

I don't know of any case open for now? 

 

A guy did help me last week download straight from camera to capture before I signed up for Plus.  Maybe that was it. 

I figured Plus would be much faster download from camera but can't get it to work.

 

How to I get intouch with this Ryan?  As I said I wait 2 hours on the phone for tech help and no one answers.  Does he have a direct line?
