GoPro Hero 6 Black vs Windows 7 64 bits

Hi, I've just bought a brand new Hero 6 Black and my computer is running on windows 7 so why the hell did you stop supporting your software with this OS that is still supported by Microsoft ? It's really not convenient for us and I heard a lot of complaints about this. Can you help ? The version 2.3.0.5383 does not recognise well my new GoPro that cost me about 600 $ CA.

WE are a member to member support community, so We did not stop supporting anything. Quik is not required to use your camera, import media, or even update the firmware. For desktop editing there are many free software editors that are much more flexible and powerful than the Quik desktop app. GoPro recommends VSCD movie editor. I personally think DaVinci Resolve is better. If you want to edit with a GoPro app the Mobile version of Quik works very well and if you have an iOS device you can also use Splice.
