I have my gopro hero 7 black (hevc) media files already on my pc (videos of the last months). I want to edit and process these footages, neigther the fusion studio nor quick doesn't see these files?
The quick recognises some of my older hero 4 files, but non of the hero 7 black.

Fusion Studio is for viewing/ stitching files taken with the Fusion camera.
Regarding the unrecognized files, how are you importing the files?
What SD card are you using?
If these are video files, do you still remember the resolution used?

If the fusion studio is only for the fusion cameras, then this part of my question is answered, because I have a Hero 7 black and the application doesn't support it.
What about the Quik application for desktop? It sees my hero 4 files, but non of my hero 7 ones. The files are not on the SD card any more, they are all on the HDD of my PC.

Also, if your Date/Time weren't set or if the battery was discharged or out of the camera for a period of time, the media might have the wrong date/time stamp. Check your folders and see if maybe they are in a folder with a previous date.

I use HEVC only. Resulution is 2,7K/50p with superview or linear or 4K/50p wide. I already selected the used folders, thats the reason why the quik detect the hero 4 footages.
For normal video editing I use Magix Vegas pro, but I want to use the dasboard funkcions (speedo, map, ect..) added with gopro quik. The Vegas processing all works fine.
Sure I will check whether a windows hevc codec may missing.
