updated from Fusion Studio 1.1 to 1.3 last night.
Updated the camera, too.
Now the software is extremely slow and crashes after a while.

Thank you for sharing, @irishmanpdx. This will help others who might be having the same issue.
@stuartp838 . A Beta firmware update for both the Fusion camera and Fusion studio was recently released. There is information here https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/fusion-2-0-beta-update-for-your-gopro-fusion about it that might help with your case. Let us know how it goes.

thank you for your quick reply.
I have uninstalled it by deleting it from the Applications folder and deleting the GoPro Fusion folder in Pictures.
Still, the software is slower than before and crashes often. I have not yet been able to render a single video.
What can I do now?

This issue has already been raised to the team in charge and they are working on getting it fixed.
We will get back to you on this thread as soon as we have an update.
In the mean time, you may try using a micro SD card when importing files.

Very frustrated. I have owned this camera since it came out and cannot transfer files into Studio. I have done everything. Updated, image capture settings, manually updated, tried direct transfer from cards, uninstalled all programs and re-installed. To date, I have never been able to edit or import a single video. What a waste of money! Yes, I'm sure I could sit on support for 3 to 5 hours like some people only to get no where. I am a videographer and have run gopros and many many other cameras for years. I am well versed in computers, updates, proper procedures, cables, and starting over. This camera has been the worst and there are not good solutions for the issues coming from Gopro. I literally waited 6 months for updates on Fusion Studio and the camera and still nothing. I have reset the camera and then manually updated and still nothing. Can't spend 10 hours of your life trying to get something to work. ridicualous!
